David Allen
CIO
Inovant LLC, a VISA Solutions Company

David Allen is Chief Technology Officer at Inovant, LLC, which is Visa's primary source for IT. Based in Foster City, CA, Inovant is the engine behind VisaNet, and is the world's largest processor of electronic payments, processing over 40 billion authorization transactions and settling $1.4 trillion annually. Inovant maintains, operates and evolves the global VisaNet system - processing electronic payments in 120 countries around the world.

David’s role is to drive Inovant’s technology strategy, enterprise architecture, technology planning and innovation to allow Visa to maintain and extend its leadership in the payments business.

Prior to Inovant, David led development and architecture for Instinet, a New York-based institutional brokerage, where he led the development of new trading applications and an enterprise architecture. He was also a senior executive with Reuters, where among other roles, he led the development and strategy of the Reuters 3000 family of financial information and trading products.

Mike Lamberg
Vice President, Corporate Information Security and Advanced Communications Technologies & Planning
SIAC Corporation

Michael Lamberg currently serves as vice president of corporate information security at the Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC), overseeing the security awareness, security architecture, and security assurance programs. Mike is also vice president of advanced communications technologies and planning, managing a team that focuses on the design of future production networking environments using layer three switching, gigabit and wireless technologies.

Mike has also played a role in the early development of the customer interface into SIAC’s Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI). His team was called upon to solicit input and requirements from customers and the industry at-large to better assist them in connecting to the SFTI environment.

Mike’s 14 years at SIAC have been spent on a variety of projects, such as the design of a multicast network for the National Market Systems, which disseminates market data to the global financial community. He was also responsible for the redesign and enhancement of the NYSE regulatory network and for SIAC’s initial Internet access and network security, including firewall design and various remote access methodologies. Recent projects include a corporate-wide information security policy rollout.

Prior to SIAC, Mr. Lamberg spent five years as Technical Director and Project Manager at Digital Signal Corporation in Bohemia, NY. Much of his work was the software-based development of a system to enhance the operation of both Navy and Air Force jamming systems. Mr. Lamberg’s educational background includes a B.S. in electrical engineering from Stony Brook University and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Polytechnic University.
Roger Mahabir
President and CEO
Technology Innovations
Former CIO, RBC Capital Markets

Roger Mahabir is the president and chief executive officer of Technology Innovations Inc., a successful information technology services and consulting firm established in 1991. He is also chairman of Assurent Software Inc.

Roger was previously the chief information officer at RBC Capital Markets (Royal Bank Canada) where he served for over 5 years. He is recognized as one of the industry’s top CIOs, having served in senior executive positions including four CIO roles with Fortune 500 companies in financial services, government, manufacturing, and retail. His systems work for innovation and delivery at Fortune 500 companies has won international acclaim and been recognized by many, including the Smithsonian. He is one of the first inductees into the Canadian Information Productivity Hall of Fame (1995).

Roger was named by CIO Magazine as one of Canada’s top CIOs in 1994. Under his leadership his organization was recognized by ComputerWorld Magazine as one of the “Global 100” Outstanding Information Technology Users Worldwide in 1995 and also received an “Award of Distinction” from the Canadian Information Productivity Association. The “Metropolis” project, which significantly re-engineered policing across the entire Metropolitan Toronto area, led to this distinction and received international acclaim and recognition.

Outside commitments have included involvement with several community and business organizations such as serving as president of the Business Advisory Council and member of the Board of Governors at the University of Waterloo, the Council on Information Management, Conference Board of Canada and chairman and CEO of Alternative Computer Training (ACT) for the disabled. He has provided consulting services to the private sector as well as to governments in Asia, Australia, and Europe.

In 1999 Roger’s team at the Royal Bank won the coveted CIPA award in the e-commerce category as well as a “Best of Category” award, and CIO Magazine’s 1999 ITX Award. He was nominated by his peers and named as one of the top Financial IT Executives of 2001/2002 by the CIO Forum (New York).

Currently, Roger also serves as a board member of several public and private companies in North America. He is the chairman of two advisory boards in Toronto, Canada and Munich, Germany. In addition, he serves as a business advisor to the senior management and boards of several corporations in the US, Canada and Europe.
Len Tenner
CIO Emeritus
Hewitt Associates

Len was the chief technology strategist and is the chief information officer (CIO) emeritus for Hewitt Associates. His last assignments before retiring in April 2004 were working with the leadership of Hewitt's outsourcing businesses to develop opportunities in the public sector, including state and local government, and in Asia, particularly in China.

Len was Hewitt Associates’ CIO for fifteen years and the CIO at Sageo, a Hewitt eBusiness, for two years. In his capacity as CIO, he was responsible for establishing information technology strategy in support of Hewitt's businesses, as well as building and managing a global technology infrastructure.

His most significant achievements at Hewitt include building a global infrastructure linking 12,000 associates; providing on-line services to 15 million employees of Fortune 1,000 companies; and building a staff of 600 professionals to support and extend Hewitt's architecture.

Prior to joining Hewitt, Len held a number of management positions in information technology at BP-Amoco. These included operations research, operating systems, data center management, applications development for refining, marketing and transportation, IT security, IT education, IT strategic planning and worldwide IT procurement.

Currently, he is a director of Flashline, Inc., a Cleveland-based software company and is on the advisory boards of The Harvard Group, an advisory board facilitation and sales training company, and Blazent a California-based software company.

Len graduated from MIT with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in chemical engineering and is a graduate of The Executive Program at the University of Virginia, Darden School.
